The first Amiga Moms Social was held ​on Saturday, May 4, 2019 in Cesar's Hall, located in West New York, New Jersey. ​ The social was fully sold out with women - moms and non-moms - across the tri-state area. The event consisted of brunch, photo booth fun, building a support network, discussing expectations of the 21st century Latina and learning about mindfulness and its benefits. ​ Participants had the opportunity to win prizes and all received swag bags filled with goodies from Amiga Moms sponsors. ​ It was a phenomenal event filled with laughter and tears, setting the foundation for future Amiga Moms events.
